Both Grade 5 classrooms have been chosen by the Ministry of Education to participate in a field study for the 2010 Writing AFL. Students began this process this morning by completing the planning stages of either a narrative or an expository writing prompt. We will continue with this process for the next two days.

After recess, we reviewed Friday's math assignment about volume and cubic meters. Students then worked on page 149/150 (1,2,3,5,6,7) to complete the topic of using referents for 1 L.
Students then took some time to prepare for the math AFL that is quickly approaching in the beginning of June.
