Tuesday started off with Day 2 of Centers. Students worked at Guided Reading with Mrs. Lippai as I pulled students for Fontas and Pinnell reading assessment. We will be testing over the next few days. It is very important for students to be at school over the next few days so we can complete the assessment.

After recess, we completed Science Pods. At the teacher table, we read a bried overview of the barometer and how how low and high pressure systems effect our weather. Students then broke off into their pairs to discuss who will bring what supplies for our Tuesday construction of our own barometers. Students then worked on a Rain Gauge question sheet at the next station. Students handed these in. At the computer station, students played The Space Place.

After lunch, we completed Math Pods. At station 1, students worked on numbers 3 and 4from page 27 in the textbook. Students also reviewed yesterday's assignment. We will review today's division equation questions tomorrow. At station 2, students worked on the unit review (page 30) numbers 1,3, and 4. These are not due tomorrow as we will continue to review tomorrow. At computers, students were able to choose from any of the games we've played so far. We will have a unit test on Monday, September 27.

We had Phys Ed after recess and finished the day off with our read aloud, Hatchet.
