As we begin our new week, we completed another day of Centers. Students picked their 7 spelling words for this week at the Guided Reading station. Continue to practice these words for the test on Friday.

In Science, students worked in their groups to complete their Temperature Investigation that they have been working on for the last 5 days. Students were able to use the information they have gathered to answer the question they set out to discover. Great job!
We also worked in our Weather Station partners to design and create our rain gauges. The students did a wonderful job of being creative and practical! I was impressed!!

After lunch, we completed math pods. At teacher table, we worked together to compile equations from word problems. With Mrs. Lippai, students worked on using Guess and Check or By Inspection to solve addition and subtraction equations. At the computer station, students worked on two equation games: Late Delivery and Equations Practice.

We finished up the day with Phys. Ed. and Chapter 5 of our read aloud, Hatchet.

Have a great evening everyone! Don't forget to get your recipes in for the Gillen Recipe Book!!
