Our Tuesday began with Centers.

After recess, we wrote our unit test for Patterns and Equations in Math. The students did a wonderful job!! I'm very proud of them!! I will return the tests to the students tomorrow!

Students have been doing a wonderful job narrowing the topic in writing. We discussed today how adding detail to our writing will make it more interesting. Students broke into small groups today. Each group got a picture from a National Geographic magazine. Students had to describe as many things as they could about their picture using their 5 senses. We worked to compile webs to show our descriptions.

After lunch, students worked to create thier barometer's in Science. We will test out our new weather instruments next Science class!

Students then had French with Mrs. Orosz.

In Social Studies, we worked in three pods. At pod one, students worked on a map search activity where students used a map of Canada to find examples of various things (bays, cities, oceans). At the second pod, students worked to color a geographical terms activity that we will continue with next class. Finally at pod three, students were on the computer practicing with the Continents of the World.

We finished off our day in Phys Ed!
