Friday began with our first day of Centers! The students did a wonderful job of following their map and knowing which station they had to be at.

We worked to complete our T.W.A.S. (This Week At School). Students will be completing this every Friday. With this, students will be writing a letter to someone special to them that details what they have done at school over the week. Please take the time to read these letters and sign and return them to school on Tuesday. We will use this activiti to practice writing a letter, paragraph structure, and sentence structure.

After recess, we completed a short set of Math Pods. At the computer station, students could choose any of the Pattern games that we have played already. At teacher table, we discussed yesterday's homework assignment and corrected together. We also began talking about how to use patterning to problem solve. Students continued to work on their chart paper patterns at the rug to complete the third station.

During Social Studies, we looked at 4 different types of flat maps and discussed the advantages and disadvantages of these.

Students finished off the day with French and Phys Ed.
