We began our day with day 2 of Centers. The guided reading groups are focusing on how to determine meaning of words that we are unsure of when we read. Just a reminder to students...if you are not complete your center stations for that day they are homework. All center stations are due in the morning of Day 1 in the cycle.

After recess, students took their favorite foods paragraph's that we wrote last week and "stretched" them with more detail to improve the piece.

We corrected Friday's math assignment together. We then began Lesson 6 - Solving Addition and Subtraction Equations. Students worked on pages 24-25 (1,2.3,4,5,6,7,8a). This is homework for those who did not get it completed today.

Students then continued to work on their Map Skills booklets in Social Studies.
