Students word processed their spelling words this morning. Lesson 2 spelling test will be on Wednesday, September 16.

After recess, we talked about adding detail to our writing. We "stretched" a few sentences together as a class before breaking into groups to stretch I watched TV. Students did a great job to make this sentence more exciting.

We corrected yesterday's math assignment as a class. We have expanded on the use of expressions and variables and are looking at using expressions in math problems. Students worked on a handout today (due tomorrow).

Students handed in their Social Studies title pages and started on their Map Skills booklets. We will continue on this booklet next class.
