Students word processed Lesson 3 spelling words today. Lesson 2 spelling tests were returned and placed in the Spelling duotang.

Students worked with their partner to add detail and stretch the sentences of their Detail Cube paragraphs from yesterday. I am in the process of uploading short video clips of the students reading these awesome pieces of writing!

After lunch, students then worked on a Detail Cube paragraph of their own. They streteched with details and are working on a good copy to put on the bulletin board in the hallway.

We finished the day with Social Studies. We reviewed the Map Skills booklet together as a class. Students then worked in small groups to brainstorm what we can find on a globe. We will share these webs next class.
