Sorry for not posting Monday or Tuesday but my interview schedule was very full.

Our day started off with our monthly assembly. Students working on their RAFTS assignment after we returned from assembly.

After recess, we worked through our math stations. Students completed a Doubling to Multiply worksheet applying this strategy to single digit mulitplication. At the rug, students worked in partners to play a variety of multiplication game. Students were also able to choose from any of the Multiplication/Division games from the blog to play during the computer station.
Please encourage your child to practice their mulitplication tables daily!! The students are starting to see just how important it is to recognize these facts!

After lunch, we discusses some of the symbols of Canada that they saw in the last video we watched during Social Studies. We discussed the maple leaf and why this is such a popular symbol of Canada. We will continue with this discussion next class.

Students finished off the day in French and Phys Ed.

*Thank you to all of the parents who were able to attend parent/teacher conferences. This sharing time is very important for everyone involved as open communication is very important for you child's success at school. If you ever have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me through email, phone, or stop by the classroom.
