Sorry for the lack of posts in the last few days!

Our Wednesday morning started off with a fresh, new set of Centers.

After recess, students were introduced to the next trait of writing: Organization. We discussed RAFTS and how this writing tool can help us organize our writing. Students worked in groups to discover different components of various prompts.

We started off our afternoon with math pods. Mrs. Lippai worked at a pod to discuss mulitplying with multiples of 10. Students were assigned page 82 (1 a,c/ 2 a,c). I worked with a pod and discussed how looking for patterns when multiplying can be a helpful strategy. Students were assigned pages 74/75 (1,3). Students played a multiplication game at the computer pod.

We wrapped up our day in Phys Ed and with read aloud.

Students will be provided with a time for interviews tomorrow. I have tried to meet the schedule needs of everyone as best I can. I do not have any open time slots on either day. Please let me know through email or phone if you are unable to make the time alotted for you.
