Marvelous Monday!

Monday started off with a brand new set of Centers. There will be no Spelling List or TWAS for this week as we only have a 3 day week.

Students enjoyed Art with Mrs. Schentag after recess.

To start off our afternoon, students received their Math test from Friday. Please sign and return these for tomorrow. Those students who did not receive the Math markbook through email also received their paper copy of their markbook today.
Our next unit in Math, Multiplication and Division, relies heavily on students knowing their multiplication tables. I strongly encourage your child to practice his or her times table every evening, whether it's on the computer or on paper. Today, we practiced with "Roll a Rectangle." We will continue over the next few days to brush up on our Mutliplcation skills.

In social, students completed their Title pages as well as labelling their maps of Canada with all of the provinces and territories.

Students are bringing home a letter explaining parent-teacher interview. Since some of the students have Centers (language arts) with Mrs. Gale you may be interested in seeing her. If you would like to meet with Mrs. Gale, myself, or the both of us please indicate this on the letter and return to me as soon as possible. We will do our best to schedule your child's interview to coincide with other siblings in the school.
