We started off our Tuesday morning with Day 4 of Centers. Tomorrow will start a new set of Centers. Students have been really involved in reading and enjoying a variety of different books. Two students are celebrating their books in these short videos. Great job guys!!


After recess, we worked in partners to complete our Social Studies Canadian Symbols booklet.

Our afternoon started with Math Pods. Mrs. Lippai led a group and reviewed the estimation strategies with multiplication. I led a second group and introduced a new strategy to the students that will help students break down two digit numbers in order to multiply. I will post a short video tomorrow that helps to explain this strategy. The computer station had students playing the mulitplication games from the blog.

Our day finished with Phys Ed and the classroom read aloud.
