This morning, we started off with our Lesson 14 Spelling Test.

We then completed Math Pods. Students played math games from the Measurement folder at computers. At seat work, students worked in their group to create rectangular prisms given the volume. Students took pictures of their rectangular prisms and completed a chart including the dimensions of these structures. At teacher table, students worked on page 144 (6,7,8). These questions are due on Wednesday.

After recess, students had Science with Mrs. Gale.

We then started Lesson 15 Spelling with the words: suggest, column, board, bored, fourth, among, receive.

After lunch, we discussed Thursday's Explore activity in Math. Students then constructed a replica of a cubic meter. We then worked in our textbook on page 147 )1,2,3). This is also due for Wednesday.

To finish off our day, we continued to work on our short stories from last week's center activities. Students are going through the writing process of adding detail, word choice, and conventions.
