Students word processed Lesson 8 spelling this morning. Spelling test for Lesson 8 will be on Friday, November 6.

After recess, we worked on stretching and adding details to the classroom story that we wrote together. Students then took the rest of the class to add details to their stories. Students were asked to add a detail and/or stretch at least once in every sentence.

After lunch, we completed Math pods. We have focused on our 1,2,3,5,and 10 times tables. Continue to practice these at home as we want to be able to identify our tables very quickly. At seat work, students worked in pairs to play a rectangle multiplication game. Computers had students playing multiplication games for repitition.

To finish off the day, students had one last class to work on the Survival Island assignment. This is due Wednesday, November 4. A unit test will be on Friday, November 6. Students will get a review in class on Wednesday.
