We jumped right back into the swing of things this morning. Students completed Day 2 of Centers. Students were given their Lesson 19 spelling words. Our spelling test will be on Friday, February 11.
Independent Reading Book Reviews
After recess students completed Math Pods. Station 1 was on the computers where students could choose from the links posted on the blog for area and perimeter. At station 2, we worked with geoboards to create rectangles with a given area and a given perimeter. At station 3, students worked with geoboards to create rectangles with given area. This is homework if not completed.
Students then had library with Mrs. Schentag.
Our afternoon began with Social where students worked to complete their title pages for our next unit, Canada's Influences.
The day finished with French and Phys Ed.
