We completed Day 2 of Centers today.

After recess, students had the opportunity to choose a poem they will be reciting at parent night. Students will be recording their voices or video taping themselves reciting their poems. These will be shared during the parent night March 17.

We completed another day of Math Pods with the help of Mrs. Gale. Mrs. Gale had her group of students comparing fractions using fraction circles and fraction tiles. The group I worked with, compared fractions using a number line. The third group of students played Dolphing Racing at the computer station.

To finish off the day, we talked about Christopher Columbus in Social Studies. We watched a short video introducing the students to this explorer. We then completed a short read and 6 questions.
